Ropa Vieja Cubana

Ingredients
- 2 pounds of beef/brisket cooked and shredded
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 4 tablespoons of dry wine (bank or red)
- 1 onion cut into small pieces
- 1 bell pepper, julienned (thin strips)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 4 tablespoons of tomato puree
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup olives
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- To make our Cuban old clothes, the first thing we must do is place a pan over medium heat with oil, onion and garlic to fry a little.
- Then we will add the cumin and the bay leaf, in addition, the previously shredded meat and stir well.
- Add the tablespoons of wine and the tomato puree, let it all cook for about 10 minutes.
- Check the salt and add pepper, before turning off add the olives and julienned paprika.
- Accompany the old clothes with tostones or rice.
