French Fry Sliders

Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- ¼ cup bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp barbecue sauce
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp. pepper
- ¼ tsp salt
- 24 McCain® Seasoned Waffle Fries
- 3 slices Cheddar cheese, quartered
- 12 leaves Boston Bibb lettuce
- 12 slices plum tomato
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 450˚F. Gently mix together beef, bread crumbs, barbecue sauce, egg, garlic, pepper and salt. Divide the mixture into 12 portions; shape each portion into ½ -inch thick patties. Transfer to foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until meat is no longer pink inside. Top each mini burger with cheese; return to oven for 1 or 2 minutes or until melted. Alternatively, the burgers can be grilled.
- Meanwhile, prepare McCain® Seasoned Waffle Fries according to package directions.
- Sandwich each burger with lettuce and tomato between McCain® Seasoned Waffle Fries.
- Serve with ketchup, mustard and relish if desired.
